A Garth Brooks fan was found “dissolved” in Dublin after the country music superstar's concerts in Croke Park.
The singer delighted his Dublin fans during his stay in the capital last week, even taking part in a sing-along at a playground at Portland Place. Following the gigs, one person spotted an unusual sight near the canal and snapped a photograph, which has since gone viral on social media.
The picture shows a cowboy hat and numerous items of clothes, including a plaid shirt and blue jeans, lying on the ground beside a tree. Uploading the snap to Reddit, the person joked: “Was walking by the canal this morning. Seems a Garth Brooks fan dissolved over the weekend.”

The post has since been viewed hundreds of times, while many people took to the comments section to share their best puns. One person wrote: “For some of us, tomorrow never comes.”
Another person added: “Shame he's gone, he was much too young.” A third said: “Looks like they're gonna miss...the...dance.”
Someone else posted: “He was too warm from standing beside the fire.” A non-Garth Brooks fan then bluntly said of the singer: “He always was a melter.”
It comes as Garth Brooks has reflected on his performances in Ireland and admitted he was "annoyed" at himself after the first show on September 9. Speaking with his wife, Trisha Yearwood, on their Facebook show ‘Inside Studio G’, he said: “So the first night, you come out and they start to chant and you just start crying. You're done!"
“You're just toast! You can't keep up, you're behind. So I'm kind of p***ed at myself after the first night because I wanted it to be something big and they were all over it.”
He then went on to gush about the following shows at Croke Park. "Saturday night came and we came busting out of the gate and it was like a prize fight. It was on. Saturday night was probably my favourite, it was definitely my favourite of the first two.
"Then, Sunday, it rained all day. My voice was gone and I thought, 'Sunday crowd'. Then, it cleared up at about 6pm and started being gorgeous.
“My voice came back and Sunday was like a Saturday night anywhere else. They were crazy and it was fun. And on Sunday, of all times, if it hadn't been for the curfew, we'd still be there on Sunday night. Those people were awesome.”
Brooks had a few free days in between the final two shows. He said: “They make you wait four days before you get to go back into the fray. We came out the next Friday night, the second last night, we came out the gate and I was going to knock them on their ass. That was my thing. I ran into a church!
“You came out Friday night and they just wanted to wallow in the words. I'm sitting there doing the whole spectacle and you can hear them saying 'just sing!' It was fabulous, everything slowed down and you just ate the songs.”
He then went on to say that the final night in GAA HQ was the “best night” he had ever spent here. "Then Saturday night, it could not have gone better. It could not have been a better way to cap not only the five nights but the stadium tour as well.
"The best night I've ever spent in Ireland was that Saturday night. It could not have gone better,” he said.
