Andy Farrell hopes to have Caelan Doris and Dan Sheehan available for Ireland's Grand Slam shot against England as he offered an update on Garry Ringrose's injury ordeal.
The men in green survived carnage at Murrayfield to claim a vital 22-7 victory over Scotland despite the loss of a host of top players.
Ringrose shipped a sickening blow when his head connected with Blair Kinghorn's hip as the Ireland centre tackled the Scot in the 72nd minute, and Ringrose - who was making his 50th Test appearance - needed lengthy on-field treatment before he was taken off on a medical cart.

"Garry is up and talking, a little bit dazed," said head coach Farrell.
"So, he's taking his time, trying to come around. He's not in the dressing-room, he's in the medical room."
Caelan Doris was the first casualty for the visitors when he limped off after 13 minutes.
He suffered the injury four minutes earlier, stealing lineout possession for a try that was disallowed.
"Caelan Doris, we'd a double-whammy, didn't we, in that regard with the try getting chalked off for them using a fresh ball," said Farrell.
"I don't know what advantage we got from that, but anyway.
"We lost Caelan in the midst of it, so hopefully he's going to be OK (for next week)."
Dan Sheehan was the next to go off with a shoulder injury and, in the 49th minute, his replacement Ronan Kelleher also came off with a shoulder problem.
In between, second row Iain Henderson was substituted with a wrist issue.
"Iain Henderson's in a cast already with his wrist," said Farrell.
"Dan Sheehan, the X-ray is OK on his shoulder. We're hopeful on him.
"Ronan, he injured his shoulder again. It's similar to what he did in France last year. No power, etc. That's shut down."
Farrell and Ireland skipper Johnny Sexton expressed surprise that referee Luke Pearce ruled out that early Sheehan try.
It was Sexton who kicked into touch in Scotland's 22 and the hosts' hooker George Turner threw into the lineout, with Doris acrobatically catching the ball.
However because Turner hadn't used the same ball the play was called back.
"We didn't use the new ball," said Sexton.
"I don't understand it. They obviously had to use a new ball, because the ball's gone out of play."
And Farrell added: "I don't see what advantage we got. The contact in the air was irrelevant."
