The Jets suffered another miserable loss in Week 15, as they were defeated 30—0 by the division-rival Dolphins without so much as a punch back on the offensive end. New York mustered just 103 total yards of offense and didn't have a single attempt in the red zone.
The lack of production seemed to be getting to at least one of the Jets’ offensive players, wide receiver Garrett Wilson. A frustrated Wilson seemed to be having a heated conversation with Aaron Rodgers on the sideline, an interaction that was caught by the CBS cameras during the telecast.
Here’s the moment, per NFL on CBS’s account on X, formerly Twitter.

Wilson, the 2022 Offensive Rookie of the Year winner, hauled in just three of four targets for 29 receiving yards after he was targeted 14 times in the Jets' Week 14 win over the Texans. The Ohio State product has exceeded 100 yards twice this season, and the Jets have won both games.
Wilson obviously wants the ball—all great receivers do—but it's hard to dispute the fact that New York is a better team when he's getting peppered with targets early and often.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Wilson downplayed the interaction with Rodgers, saying that he "talks with a lot of emotions," per Connor Hughes of SNY.

This season, which has seen Rodgers injured and the Jets eliminated from the playoffs, has not gone the way Wilson or any of his teammates envisioned. Perhaps that realization played into the emotions Wilson was feeling during his discussion with Rodgers.
