Garnacho and Sancho start - Man United fans name starting line-up they want to see vs Leeds

Manchester United supporters have called on Erik ten Hag to play Marcus Rashford as a central striker against Leeds United on Sunday afternoon, while also backing Alejandro Garnacho to keep his place in the team.

Erik ten Hag's men drew 2-2 with Leeds in the reverse fixture on Wednesday night, with United coming from behind to earn a point in the Premier League clash thanks to second-half goals from Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho.

The Reds currently sit in third position in the Premier League table and can extend their lead over fourth-placed Newcastle United to five points with a victory.

United will be without several players in Yorkshire, with Anthony Martial, Antony, Scott McTominay, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek all unavailable for selection.

With the Reds playing before Manchester City on Sunday, Ten Hag's men can move above their city rivals in the table - even if just for a few hours. Here's how MEN-reading United fans think the team should line up against Leeds:

Goalkeeper - David de Gea

It will not come as a surprise that United fans want David de Gea start against Leeds. The Spaniard has featured in every single Premier League match so far this season - registering eight clean sheets. The 32-year-old was beaten at his near post by Wilfried Gnonto in midweek, and will be disappointed about Raphael Varane's own goal

Defenders - Diogo Dalot, Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, Luke Shaw

With Aaron Wan-Bissaka having missed the reverse fixture on Wednesday night, Diogo Dalot should make a second successive start at right-back. The Portuguese is still finding his feet after returning from his injury, but Reds supporters are confident he can deliver. Meanwhile, Luke Shaw - who did well for the equaliser in midweek - has been backed to play at left-back.

At the heart of defence, Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane remain the first-choice centre-back pairing and should therefore both start against managerless Leeds.

Midfielders - Fred, Bruno Fernandes, Marcel Sabitzer

United are without two of their three first-choice central midfielders, so it will almost certainly be Fred, Bruno Fernandes and Marcel Sabitzer in the middle of the park again. Sabitzer did well to impose himself on Wednesday night and looked comfortable on his full debut for the club.

Fred has performed well off the bench in recent weeks, but he was really poor in midweek. Given that Ten Hag doesn't have any other options, the Brazilian will likely get his chance to make things right on Sunday. He has enjoyed playing against Leeds and scored against them home and away last term.

Forwards - Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho

Sancho scored on his Premier League return after spending time away from the first-team, and the England international made a positive impact after coming off the bench and got himself on the scoresheet. With Antony out injured, there is a chance that he could get his first start since last year.

Wout Weghorst struggled in the reverse fixture, so United supporters want to see Ten Hag start Rashford up front on Sunday. He has 20 goals and eight assists in 33 appearances this term, but has looked more comfortable on the left. Meanwhile, Garnacho has been backed to start once again, but he will be keen to impress after being at fault for Leeds' second goal on Wednesday.
