Gareth Taylor has backed Manchester City striker Ellen White to start for England during the Euro 2022 semi-final showdown against Sweden or Belgium on Tuesday night.
England produced a sensational fight-back to overcome Spain and reach the last-four with their eyes fixed on the Wembley showpiece, although their next opponents have yet to be confirmed. White has been part of an England line-up Sarina Wiegman has yet to alter throughout the entire competition.
However, despite scoring two goals in four games, White has been replaced by Manchester United player Alessia Russo in every single match so far - with Russo making a telling impact against the Spaniards when she provided a crucial assist for Ella Toone to equalise.

England went on to rubber-stamp a memorable victory when former City midfielder Georgia Stanway blasted into the net from distance. Wiegman's heroic Lionesses return to action at Bramall Lane knowing they are potentially 90 minutes away from booking a dream ticket to the final.
During an interview with Sky Sports, current City manager Taylor said: "That is really hard to say with changes and that is really difficult. It seems, at the moment, the same team has started in pretty much every game.
"With the further you go into the tournament, you will be looking at rhythm and for your players keeping cohesion between them. Ellen [White] set the tone on Wednesday night with the first ball that she charged down.
"She gives you everything as a player. Regardless of who they play, everyone has done really well in this so far and the substitutions were big on Wednesday night.
"Players from the bench really contributed well, but the way that Ellen White holds herself in the game and for the professionalism that she shows - regardless of her starting the game or coming from the bench - she's a great asset for England to have."
