Gareth Bale's reputation within the world of golf continues to skyrocket after the Welshman produced a jaw-dropping moment of skill on his PGA Tour debut at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in the United States.
Bale announced his retirement from professional football last month, earning the last of 111 international caps as he led Wales to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, their first appearance on the global stage in 64 years.
Having, somewhat controversially, made his love for golf well-known during the latter stages of his career, the five-time Champions League winner joined forces with Joseph Bramlett at the famous Californian links.

Alongside big names of the sport such as US Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick and world number five Patrick Cantlay, celebrities present include actor Bill Murray, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, actor Jason Bateman, rapper Macklemore, and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
The pair ended the day by hitting an admirable seven-under-par 65 on the Spyglass Hill course, with several celebrities competing alongside some of the world's top players.
Whilst admitting to feeling nervous and acknowledging that appearing at such a competition is a "dream" before teeing off, Bale swiftly appeared to put such concerns to bed by making par on the opening hole.
However, he swiftly encountered problems when a shot on hole two made its way onto a cart path near the green. As he so often did throughout his footballing career, though, Bale produced a moment of magic to land a chip shot just yards away from the hole.
It was a shot that one commentator could not quite believe, as they stated: "Got a drop off of the path. This is where he's hitting his third shot at the second. He goes low and he hits an amazing shot inside four feet!"
The former Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid star, unsurprisingly, downplayed his efforts. "I am more worried about how I found myself [on the path] in the first place," he claimed. "But I guess a lot of amateurs find themselves in that position.
"It was a great shot and I just tried to play into the bank and hope for the best like most amateurs do.
"It was nice to see it roll up nice and close and he was pretty much in for par so I was like 'I will pick it up' and he made me putt it because he was like 'this is going to be the greatest up-and-down.
"I finished off nicely and it was a great shot, I can't really say much more."
He does, undoubtedly, possess quality with the club in hand, having made a significant impression on world number three Jon Rahm. "I told Gareth, 'you can't be so good at professional football and golf at the same time, it just doesn't seem fair'," he said.
"Can't be dedicated to one thing and have this much talent for golf, it's not fair in the slightest."
