Gareth Bale has hailed Ange Postecoglou for his instant impact at Tottenham, insisting "It is great to see".
The Aussie gaffer has impressed Spurs supporters in quick time after moving to the club from Celtic this summer.
Postecoglou is in the running for the August manager of the month award after a successful start to life in north London in the Premier League and ex-Spurs man Bale is expecting positivity to continue.
He told Sky Sports: "It's great to see.
"I think they have got the style back, I think that is something the club was probably looking for as well, seeing how he played and performed at Celtic.
"Great start and hopefully there is still more to come from the team. They will keep getting better with the new manager and the new kind of style. Hopefully they put themselves up there and give themselves a chance."
Postecoglou appeared on talkSPORT yesterday and he admitted himself that he is loving life in the Premier League with Spurs.
He explained: "I don't like ceilings, I don't like floors, I don't like anything that limits what you can do in life.
"From my perspective let's see where it can take us.
"When I started this off 26 years ago, I left the bank to become a manager, I can tell you there was probably plenty of ceilings that were put before me then.
"I don't work that way. For me it is about getting this club to the levels that I believe it deserves to be.
“There have been no real surprises, it’s football.
“The challenges are expected everything time I walk into a role – there’s a reason why i’m here, if things are going well i wouldn’t be here.
“My eyes are wide open and I expected it to be tough, but we’ve had an encouraging start.”
