Gareth Bale responds to Rangers transfer pitch as star 'ruling nothing out' after Ally McCoist wink

Gareth Bale says he hasn't held talks with anyone over his next club as he gets set to leave Real Madrid.

And he's not ruling anything out, insisting he's focused on Wales duty for the time being.

Earlier this week he was tenuously linked with a move to Rangers with Ally McCoist talking it up.

It is drastically unlikely considering the finances involved but McCoist suggested it would be a good move for the 32-year-old to get back to playing regularly.

Gers signed his international teammate Aaron Ramsey on loan last season although that didn't work out as planned.

Wales face Belgium and the Netherlands in a Nations League double-header and that's all Bale is focused on for now.

But he's ruling nothing out - except a move to Getafe which he insists will not be happening.

Bale said: “I haven’t had any talks yet.

“Those conversations will happen after the internationals.

“Hopefully I can enjoy my holiday and then decide what I want to do and where I can be. But I am not going to Getafe that is for sure.

“I will sit down and we will see what excites me the most and what I want to do.

“I want to try and play games to be as fit as I can for the World Cup. Once I get back into playing regular football, my body will get more robust and a bit better.

“It’s very difficult to get a rhythm in terms of your fitness and health when you’re in and out of a team.

“I just need to play games and I’ll be good to go.”
