Gareth Anscombe's wife pranks him and has Wales team-mates in stitches

Gareth Anscombe's wife Milica has posted a hilarious prank video of the Wales fly-half trying to slip away to play golf instead of visiting their solicitor.

Mrs Anscombe had enquired about booking golf lessons for her husband, but learned he had already arranged them himself.

The video, posted to Instagram, starts out with a text exchange between Milica and another person, with her saying: "Does Gareth need anything for golf do you know?"

The person responds with: "I'll text Robbo and find out who he uses at Radyr now."

The text-to-speech voice reads out: "Trying to surprise him with golf lessons he already booked himself in for, while telling me he's seeing the lawyer."

A text, presumably from 'Robbo', reads: "Ah I spoke to him yesterday, he's got something booked in for today already....."

Camera footage shows Gareth explain that he is going to visit their solicitor at 3pm, and then he's "going to see Robbo".

Milica asks what the solicitor meeting is for and Gareth is put on the spot. "Um, we've got to, I've got to sign the last document," Anscombe says, with Milica including the caption "slight panic in his voice" as he answers.

The video cuts back to the text messaging, with Milica saying "his golf clubs are in my boot (crying laughing emojis)", along with a picture of the clubs in the back of her car.

The person replies: "I wanna know how he goes about getting them out of your car into his (crying laughing emoji)".

The 32-year-old fly-half is then filmed from the upstairs window with his own car boot open, but instead looking inside Milica's car. He asks for her car keys, finding the golf clubs in the boot. He remains calm and collected but spots his wife looking at him through the window, smiling in a confused manner up to her.

It cuts back to the family in the kitchen. With Gareth wearing different attire, Milica says: "You weren't wearing that when you left."

"Yeah I was!" replies Anscombe, laughing. "I know you know! I know you know!"

Watch the video below:

"All that and he's still crap," posted Wales wing and friend Josh Adams, while Willis Halaholo and Liam Williams commented with crying laughing emojis.

All Black captain Sam Cane's partner Harriet commented: "His facials when he’s in your boot getting the golf clubs (crying laughing emoji). Far out, you’d think he’s having an affair by the way he’s carrying on!"
