A search for a missing Drogheda man has been stood down after the discovery of a body.
Gardai had appealed to the public in an attempt to trace the whereabouts of 43-year-old Giedrius Kamaraukas.
He had been missing from the Drogheda, Co. Louth area since Wednesday, June 1.

He was described as being 6’ 3” in height, of medium build with short brown hair.
When last seen, he was wearing navy shorts, a dark red t-shirt, a grey hoodie and black and white Adidas runners.
A garda spokesperson said: “Following the discovery of a body of a man in Drogheda, Co Louth, on Friday 10th June 2022, a missing person appeal in respect of Giedrius Kamarauskas has been stood down.
“An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and public for their assistance in this matter.
“No further action is required and no further information is available at this time.”
