Gardai have seized a total of €195,000 worth of cannabis after a planned operation in Mallow, Co Cork.
Cannabis with an estimated street value of €125,000 was in a search of a house in the town last night.
The find was made at a premises in the Quarterstown area at around 9.30pm on Monday.
It came after €70,000 worth of cannabis was seized as part of an operation in the town yesterday morning.
A man in his 20s was arrested following that search and remains at Mallow garda station.
A spokesman said Gardaí from the Mallow District Drugs Unit, assisted by Gardaí from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and Revenue’s Customs Service, carried out the planned, intelligence lead operation in the town.
