Gardaí have renewed their appeal for information after a young man was killed in a horror collision in Tallaght.
The 23-year-old pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene after a collision involving a jeep on Wednesday, January 11.
Gardaí and emergency services rushed to the scene at around 7:15 pm that evening after it was confirmed that the man was hit by an SUV on the N81.

Medics treated him at the scene, but a short time later, he was confirmed deceased.
The woman driving the SUV, who is in her 40s, did not require hospital treatment following the incident.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators completed a forensic examination of the scene at the time.
Officers are once again appealing to any person who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.

In a statement released this morning, a garda spokesperson said: “Gardai in Tallaght are renewing their appeal to the public for information in relation to a fatal traffic collision involving a car and pedestrian that occurred in Tallaght, Dublin 24 on Wednesday, 11th January 2023.
“At approximately 7:15 pm, Gardaí and Emergency Services were alerted after a 23-year-old male pedestrian was struck by an SUV on the N81 in Tallaght.
“He was treated at the scene but was pronounced dead a short time later. The driver and sole occupant of the car, a woman in her 40s, did not require hospital treatment.
“A forensic examination of the scene was completed by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
“Gardaí are appealing to any person who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
“Any road users who were travelling on, or in the vicinity of, the N81 in Tallaght on Wednesday evening between 6.45 pm and 7.30 pm and who may have camera footage (including dash cam), is asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí”.
