Gardai investigating a terrifying incident which saw a squad car rammed have raided more homes.
Officers searched six homes in the west Dublin area on Saturday morning and seized a number of mobile phones and items of clothing.
It’s the second major search operation in connection with their investigation this week after a further six homes were raided on Thursday.

Commenting on today’s operation, a Garda spokesperson said: “A further search operation was conducted this morning by gardai investigating the Endangerment of Gardai and related incidents in the Cherry Orchard area on the 19th of September, 2022.
“Six domestic residences were searched in the west Dublin area in the course of this mornings’ operation. A number of mobile phones and items of clothing were seized for examination and analysis. No arrests were made in this phase of the investigation.
“Gardai continue to appeal to anyone with information to contact the incident room at Ballyfermot Garda Station on 01 666 7200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.”
It comes after a patrol car was rammed by joyriders cheered on by a crowd of bystanders on Monday night.
The terrifying incident unfolded in the Cherry Orchard area of South-West Dublin.
The Irish Mirror has learned there were two female officers in the patrol car and that both have been left “traumatised”.
The shocking ramming happened shortly after 7.30pm when gardai were alerted to several cars driving dangerously in the Cherry Orchard area.
Footage shared on social media shows onlookers cheering and some encouraging the drivers to “ram” the approaching patrol car. A car was driven into the patrol vehicle before it was left with no alternative but to flee the area for safety reasons.
A Garda investigation continues.
