Gardai have prosecuted a driver after they were caught reversing up a slip road from the M7 on Sunday.
The Tipperary Roads Policing Unit were on patrol in Nenagh earlier when they witnessed the extremely dangerous act.
Officers pulled the driver immediately and have confirmed that “prosecutions have commenced.”

In a post on social media, officers issued a warning as they confirmed the incident.
The post read: “Tipperary Roads Policing encountered this car reversing up a slip road from the M7 in Nenagh earlier today
“Remember to never turn around or reverse on the Motorway network!
“Prosecution commenced.”
In Ireland, anything considered 'dangerous driving' by gardai can result in serious consequences.
If you are convicted of dangerous driving, you could be fined up to €5000, or be sent to prison for up to 6 months, or both.
If you are convicted of dangerous driving causing death or serious bodily harm, you could be fined up to €20,000 and imprisoned for up to 10 years, or both.
