Gardai are investigating a suspected arson attack that saw a house in Lucan ablaze on Friday night.
Emergency services rushed to Esker Woods Drive just before midnight on Friday, 28 October after the alarm was raised. Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed that four crews of firefighters from Tallaght and Dolphins Barn prevented the fire from spreading to adjoining houses either side in Lucan.
The blaze was quickly brought under control. It is understood that no injuries were reported.

Gardai have now launched an investigation into the cause of the blaze.
A garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage by fire at a residence in Esker Woods Drive, Lucan, Dublin at approximately 11:50pm on the 28th October 2022.
"No injuries were reported. No arrests have been made.
"Investigations ongoing."
