Gardai in Meath are investigating after a knife was pulled on two teens in Laytown, Co Meath on Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred at around 7:30 pm in the Corballis area.
Gardai explained that two teenage boys had been walking between Laytown Footbridge and Ben Head when they were approached by two other male teens.
One of the boys they ran into pulled a knife and demanded they hand over their phones before “a scuffle ensued.”

Officers say the two boys managed to flee before any injuries were sustained and also managed to keep a hold of their phones.
According to Drogheda Leader, gardai are now searching for the two suspects, believed to be aged between 14 and 16 and are asking any witnesses to come forward.
In a statement to the Irish Mirror, a Garda spokesperson said: “Gardai attended an incident of robbery that occurred at 7:30 pm on the 26th of April 2022 in the Corballis area of Laytown, Co Meath.
“No injuries were reported as a result of this incident and no arrests have been made.
“Investigations are ongoing at this time.”
