Gardai launch appeal for missing 14-year-old girl

Gardai have launched a missing person appeal for a 14-year-old girl from Clondalkin.

Nikita Twomey was last seen on Monday evening and is known to frequent Cork Street and Dublin 8.

The teenager is described as being 5 feet 3 inches and was last seen wearing a purple hooded jumper, grey tracksuit bottoms and a black The North Face jacket.

A spokeswoman said: "Gardai are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Nikita Twomey, aged 14 years, who is missing from Clondalkin, Dublin 22 since Monday, 28th February, 2022.

"Nikita was last seen on Monday evening at approximately 7.30pm. Nikita is known to frequent locations on Cork Street and Dublin 8.

She added: "Nikita is described as being approximately 5 feet 3 inches in height with a slight build. She has green eyes and short, red hair. When last seen, Nikita was wearing a purple hooded jumper, grey tracksuit bottoms, a black The North Face jacket, black runners and a black beanie hat."

Anyone with information on Nikita's whereabouts is asked to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 01 666 7600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
