Gardai issue urgent appeal for help locating Galway teen missing for days

Gardai have issued a public appeal for help with locating a missing teenager from Galway, who has not been in contact with friends or family for days now.

Michala Mullen is 15 years old and was last seen on April 1. She went missing from her home in An Cheathrú Rua, Co. Galway.

According to a garda statement, she is around 5’1” in height and is of a slim build. She has long red hair and green eyes.

It is not known what Michala was wearing on the day she went missing, officers confirmed.

Investigating gardai are asking that anyone with information comes forward, in order to help them locate the young woman safe and well.

The full statement releases this afternoon read: “Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 15-year-old Michala Mullen who went missing from her home in An Cheathrú Rua, Co. Galway on Saturday, 1st April 2023.

“Michala is described as being approximately 5’ 1” in height with a slim build. She has long red hair and green eyes. It is not known what Michala was wearing at the time she went missing.

“Anyone with information on Michala’s whereabouts is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091 538 000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station”.
