Gardai issue urgent appeal for help as 13-year-old missing from Dublin

Gardai have launched an urgent appeal to the public for help in finding a young girl who is missing from South Dublin.

The 13-year-old has been missing from Kimmage since around 12:45 am this morning, July 8, and has yet to make contact with family or friends.

Skye Dempsey is described as being 5' 7” in height, and is of slim build with long brown hair.

According to officers, when she was last seen Skye was wearing a black jacket, black shorts and black runners.

Officers are asking that anyone who may have information on her whereabouts to get in touch with local gardai in Crumlin or any Garda station in the country.

A Garda spokesman said: "Anyone with information of Skye’s whereabouts is asked to contact Crumlin Garda Station on 01 666 6200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station."
