Gardaí are investigating an alleged assault that took place as Kilkenny took on Clare in the All-Ireland Hurling Championship semi-final at Croke Park.
Video footage emerged shortly after the game that appeared to show an altercation between a male Clare supporter and a group of Kilkenny fans on Hill 16 during the contest.
A female Kilkenny supporter can be seen getting caught up in the incident, with video from another angle showing a female fan with a cut above her right eye.
Gardai confirmed that a teenage girl who was not involved in the incident was injured and received medical attention.

A statement reads: “Gardai in Fitzgibbon Street are investigating an incident of alleged assault that occurred at a venue in Drumcondra on Sunday evening July 9, 2023 at approximately 5:30pm.
“An altercation broke out between two separate persons and a female teenager (who was not involved in the incident) was injured during the incident. She received medical attention and her injuries are non-life threatening.
“Any person who has information in relation to this incident, is requested to contact Mountjoy Garda station on 01-6668600, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any other Garda Station.
“Investigations ongoing.”
This is the second weekend in a row that an incident of crowd trouble on Hill 16 has occurred at Croke Park after fighting broke out amongst fans on the Hill during Armagh’s All-Ireland football quarter-final defeat to Monaghan.
Kilkenny eventually prevailed over Clare by two points and will face Limerick in the All-Ireland final at Croke Park in a couple of weeks' time.
