A garda investigation is under way after a body was found at a house in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The body of a man in his 30s was discovered at the property in Wexford town.
Gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene and the area was sealed off.
His body has been taken to University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem will take place at a later date.
Gardai say the results of the exam will determine the course of their investigation and that they are probing "all the circumstances" surrounding the discovery.
A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery of a body of a man in his 30s at a property in Wexford town in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 2nd March 2022.
"His body has since been removed to University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem will take place at a later date, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation."
