Gardai are probing "all the circumstances" after a man's body was discovered in Co Wexford.
The man, who was in his 30s, was found dead in a house in Wexford town on Monday morning.
His body has since been taken to Waterford Hospital where a post mortem will be carried out.
Gardai say the results of this examination will direct the course of their investigation.
However, it is understood that foul play is not suspected in the man's death.
A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body of a man at a house in Wexford Town this morning, Monday 17th January 2022.
"The body of the deceased, a man aged in his 30s, was removed to Waterford Hospital for post mortem.
"The results of the post mortem will direct the course of this investigation."
