Gardai are investigating after a man died following an incident in the library of Trinity College in Dublin.
The incident happened at around 8.50pm on Wednesday night.
The man died at the scene and cops say they "are investigating all the circumstances surrounding his death."
Investigators are working to establish the full details of what happened but they believe there was no suspicious element to the incident which led to the man's death.
As part of their inquiries, gardai will speak to anyone who may have been present at the time.
A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí in Pearse Street are currently at scene of an incident in the library in Trinity College, Dublin, that occurred this evening at approximately 8.50 p.m. Wednesday 23rd February, 2022.
"A male was discovered deceased and Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances surrounding his death.
"A post mortem will be conducted in due course and the results of the same will determine the course of the investigation."
