An alleged assault at Dublin Airport involving a worker employed by a third party has sparked a garda investigation.
Gardai were alerted to the incident that is alleged to have happened at around 6.15pm on April 25.
It is alleged that a passenger was attacked by a worker at the airport during the altercation, Dublin Live reports.
The alleged incident under investigation by gardai relates to an employee of a third-party company that operates at Dublin Airport.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardai are investigating an assault that occurred at approximately 6:15pm, April 25, 2022 at Dublin Airport. No arrests have been made, investigations are ongoing.

A spokesperson for the DAA said: "We never comment on security matters for obvious reasons or on matters concerning employees of other companies which operate at Dublin Airport.
"Any comment in relation to any alleged incident at Dublin Airport involving staff or passengers could be prejudicial in any subsequent court case either criminal or civil. The due process of law must be adhered to."
