Gardai have confirmed that a woman's body was found in Sutton earlier today.
An Garda Siochana first received reports of a body on Burrow Beach at around 6:50am this morning. The woman's body was subsequently recovered from the water.
Gardai confirmed: "The RNLI life boat stationed at Howth Harbour recovered the body of a woman from the water and it was removed to Connolly Hospital Mortuary."

A file will be prepared for the Coroner's Court following the incident. Investigations remain ongoing.
