Gardai investigate after shots fired at house in Dublin

Gardai have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a house in Dublin.

Officers were alerted following reports of a number of gunshots at a property on Downpatrick Road, Crumlin shortly after midnight on Thursday.

None of the occupants in the house were injured.

Investigating officers have sealed off the home for forensic and technical examination.

A garda spokesman said: "Anyone with information is asked to contact Sundrive Road Garda Station 01 666 6600 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111."
