Several shots were fired at a residential house in Dublin in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Gardai said the shooting incident happened on the Downpatrick Road in Crumlin shortly after midnight.
No one was injured in the gun fire and gardai have sealed off the area to conduct a forensic investigation.
In a press statement, Gardai said: "Shortly after midnight, on Thursday, 10th February 2022, Gardaí were alerted following reports of a number of gun shots fired at a house on Downpatrick Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12.
"None of the occupants of the house were injured.
"The scene is preserved for forensic and technical examination by local scenes of crime officers."
