Gardaí have established that murdered Adnan Asic had been walking with another man just minutes before his body was found at a roadside.
The Irish Mirror has learned that cops are now awaiting forensic results in which they hope can nail his killer.
The 60-year-old, below, was out socialising on Friday night in the Blanchardstown area of West Dublin.

He was then seen walking with one other man just minutes before he was found with severe injuries at around 2.50am.
A passer-by raised the alarm and Mr Asic was rushed to Connolly Hospital but was pronounced dead. Responders to the scene initially thought he had been stabbed due to the amount of blood found there.
A postmortem also ruled out the possibility Mr Asic had been hit by a car.
But it instead pointed towards a brutal beating with severe injuries to one side of his body. There are a number of items under forensic examination including the victim’s clothes which cops hope can identify his killer.
A source said: “Gardai believe at this stage that he knew his attacker due to the severe nature of the attack.
“But forensics will now play a key role in this case.” Mr Asic is originally from Bosnia but lived here for over
30 years. Gardai have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
