Gardai were called to the scene of a crash earlier this week, only to find a driver breaking a litany of laws.
Not only did one motorist fail a roadside breath test for alcohol, but there was also no insurance, tax or NCT valid for the car.
The driver was arrested, the car they were driving car impounded and a court appearance will follow.
Officers posted about the incident on Twitter, saying: “Roads Policing Unit Naas attended a road traffic collision earlier this week.
“One motorist failed the Roadside Breath Test for alcohol and was arrested - there was no Insurance, Tax or Nct valid for the car. Court appearance to follow, car impounded.”
It comes as gardai continue to carry out checkpoints across Ireland.
Officers attached to the Santry Roads Policing Unit were conducting a number of stops around the Dublin Metropolitan Region on Thursday.
Seven cars were seized all for the same reason, while several fines were also issued for speeding.
Gardai said: “Santry Roads Policing Unit conducted a number of checkpoints around the DMR North area yesterday to detect Road Traffic offences.
“Seven vehicles were seized for no insurance with court to follow.
“Several fines were also issued for speeding throughout the Division.”
