Gardai are tonight questioning two women as part of a crackdown on a gang involved in the Drogheda feud.
Sources say one of the women is a girlfriend of one of the leaders of the gang that was behind the gruesome murder of teenager Keane Mulready-Woods in the Co Louth town in January 2020.
That killing was carried out by slain gangster Robbie Lawlor for the gang led by two brothers from the Drogheda area.

They are understood to have fled Ireland after the killing – but associates remain in Ireland.
And today gardai made their move against the two women, who are closely connected to senior members of the gang.
The arrests were made as part of Operation Stratus – the crackdown on the deadly feud in the town that has now claimed four lives.
The gang, which has been feuding with the Maguire faction for several years, is heavily involved in drugs and crime in Drogheda and are a major target of Stratus.
Gardai said four premises were searched in Louth and north Dublin as part of today's operation and the two women were arrested.
Both women are currently detained under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007 at a Garda station in County Louth, a spokesman said.
They can be held for up to a week.
