Gardai arrested two people in the early hours of this morning after a chase began when they failed to stop for officers in north Dublin.
There was a stinger deployed along with air support during the chase that took place across several popular motorways. The occupants drove on the wrong side of the M1, M50 and the N2.
Onlookers reported the incident happening at around 1.20am this morning. An image of the chase was also shared online by gardai.

They said: "Our Air Support Unit assisted ground units to intercept a vehicle that failed to stop for Gardaí in Coolock last night. A pursuit commenced in which the car drove on the wrong side of the M1, M50 & N2. A stinger device was deployed, car stopped, driver & 2 occupants arrested."
