Four people have been arrested in Dublin following an alleged driver theory test scam.
The arrests were made over concerns that people were being paid substantial amounts of money to sit the driver theory test for others, the Irish Independent reports. The scam enabled people to receive a learner's permit to drive on Irish roads without ever taking the theory test themselves.
An Garda Siochana confirmed that three men and a woman had been arrested as part of their investigation. The four individuals are currently detained in Garda stations across Dublin's city centre.
