Gardai are continuing to investigate "all the cirumstances" in their probe into the death of a two-year-old boy and a five-year-old girl in Westmeath.
Officers attached to the Mullingar station are leading the probe, while post mortems on the bodies of both dead children have been completed by the State Pathologist.
Forensic examination of the vehicle by the Garda Technical Bureau is continuing.
A female in her 40s continues to be treated for serious, but non-life threatening, injuries at a Dublin Hospital.

Sources last night told the Mirror that the car was discovered on fire down a rural roadway just after 4pm.
The sources also said that gardai have no evidence the car had been involved in an accident.
Officers were last night trying to establish how the car went on fire and led to the deaths of the two young kids.
