Wanted Garang Kuol is a step closer to sealing a stunning loan move to Hearts after the Australia World Cup star posted a photo in Edinburgh. The Jambos are among a host of clubs who are keen to take the Newcastle United starlet on loan and the Tynecastle faithful’s excitement levels have gone up a notch after he took to Instagram to share a photo in the capital.
Kuol officially joined the Geordies from Central Coast Mariners on January 1 and was spotted at Newcastle’s game against Arsenal on Tuesday night but Eddie Howe plans to send him out on loan to get some valuable first team experience. And it would be a major coup for Robbie Neilson’s side to land such a highly rated youngster for the second half of the season. Kuol’s social media update points to the Scottish Premiership side winning the race for the player who Australian media have reported he has gained his UK work permit.
Kuol has enjoyed a stunning recent rise after making his debut in the A-League, penning a deal with the Magpies in September and then featuring against Argentina and France in Qatar for the Socceroos. He would join fellow Aussie internationals Kye Rowles, who also played for Central Coast Mariners, Nathanial Atkinson and Cammy Devlin at Tynecastle.
