A man in West Lothian has been left shaken after a gang of youths robbed him near a local football pitch this week.
Police in West Calder have appealed for information after the group targeted the 29-year-old on a footpath next to the Dickson Street pitches on Monday, December 19.
Taking place at around 8pm, the man had been approached by four youths, who had threatened him before stealing a sum of his cash worth three-figures.

The group are described as being white males, all aged around 15 or 16-years-old, of skinny builds and speaking with local accents. They were dressed in dark clothing with their hoods up.
The group left on foot in the direction of Burngrange Park/Comitis Road.

Detective Constable Ross Collett said: “No one was injured but this was a very unsettling experience for the man involved.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have seen or heard a disturbance in the area to come forward.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage from the area on Monday evening.
“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 3587 of 19 December, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
