Shocking footage has captured the moment a trio of thugs leapt out of a white van and smashed up a car parked outside houses in Fife. A white van can be seen speeding down Kirkland Park and passing a black car before grinding to a halt, in doorbell footage captured on Monday night.
Three thugs can be seen sprinting towards the parked vehicle and begin smashing the motor with weapons. One of the men, wearing a green shirt, can be seen panning in the rear window while the others batter the passenger side of the vehicle.
The yobs then race back to the van before speeding off down the road. Police are probing the vandalism. It's understood the car damaged was just one of a number of vehicles targeted in the area on Monday night.
A source told the Record: "There's a series of stuff with this. They smashed an entire series of cars in Kirkland Park.
"A few on other streets were attacked as well I believe."
"Seemingly the police are working on this and have this footage as well."
A Police Scotland spokesperson: "On Tuesday, June 28, officers received reports of a number of cars having been vandalised in Kirkland Park, Ballingry. Enquiries are ongoing."
