Gamlins Law buys Rhyl's Morfa Hall for its new headquarters

A leading law firm has made a number of key appointments and unveiled plans to move to a new head office in Rhyl.

Gamlins Law has brought on board experienced criminal solicitor Craig Hutchinson, commercial property lawyer Ben Whiting, conveyancing solicitor Joanne Jones, compliance manager Suzy Hutchinson and finance manager Huw Rees.

The firm will also move to new offices in Rhyl over the coming months after purchasing Morfa Hall as its new HQ, previously the home of the Wales Council for Voluntary Action.

Gamlins Law, which employs over 70 people, also has offices in Mold, Ruthin, Denbigh and Holywell.

Ron Davison, managing director of Gamlins Law, said: “The growth that we have achieved as a firm in the last five years ensured that we were able to meet the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We have also invested heavily in putting in place the best possible IT and other business processes which enabled us to continue to provide the highest possible standard of client service throughout the last nine months.

"We continue to look for ways in which we can further develop our client offering and the appointments of Craig, Ben, Suzy, Joanne and Huw strengthen the Gamlins Law team.

“We are also delighted to have completed the purchase of Morfa Hall.

“Although it is just a few hundred yards from our current Rhyl office, the space and layout it provides will be ideal as we all adjust to the new norms.

“It also provides us with the room we require as we continue to grow the business and our specialist teams over the next few years.”

Gamlins Law offers a comprehensive range of legal services and in the last year, the directors launched a standalone HR company, HR Anchor, and Go For Growth, a network of business professionals formed to provide SMEs with the services they need to build and sustain growth.

Ron added: “We are always seeking ways to innovate and evolve the services we can offer our clients. It is all part of our ambition to be North Wales’ law firm of choice.”
