A gamekeeper has raised nearly £3,000 by walking around the Galloway Forest Park for the Ukraine relief fund.
Gavin McGhie, who lives near Dalry, took on the challenge along with brother Frank, with Steve Grimshaw offering support.
Starting and finishing at Clatteringshaws, it took them 22 hours – including breaks – to cover around 60 miles.
And they took more than 120,000 steps along the way.
But it was all worth it with £2,855 so far raised for the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. Gavin’s fundraising page is now closed
