Game Of Thrones Fans Gear Up For Epic Auction Of Iconic Memorabilia‌ ‌

The Iron Throne, crafted exclusively for promotional events and tours, is up for sale. HERITAGE AUCTIONS VIA SWNS.

Fans of the beloved TV series “Game of Thrones” will have the incredible opportunity to acquire iconic props and costumes from the show through an upcoming auction.

This auction will feature not only props and costumes but also set decorations, weapons, jewelry, and more from the renowned adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s novels by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. With over 900 lots containing more than 2,000 pieces, the auction promises an extensive array of memorabilia.

Some of the highlights include Jon Snow’s Valyrian steel sword Longclaw, Jaime Lannister’s golden hand, a meticulously crafted iron throne, and even a dragon egg and skull. This auction is sure to excite fans and collectors alike with its remarkable offerings from the iconic series.

Janet Graham Borba, HBO’s Executive Vice President of Production, expressed excitement about giving fans the chance to take home a piece of Westeros and showcase the series’ creativity and groundbreaking work.

“Game of Thrones has been one of HBO’s most successful series and has created an incredible and dedicated fan base around the world,” said Janet Graham Borba, HBO Executive Vice President of Production. “We are excited to give fans an opportunity to take home a little piece of Westeros while also giving them a glimpse of the creativity and the groundbreaking work that went into the series.”

Executive Vice President Joe Maddalena of Dallas-based Heritage Auctions expressed his excitement for the upcoming Game of Thrones auction, which is expected to be grand in scale. He emphasized the joy of working with HBO and the honor of presenting remarkable pieces from such an extraordinary series.

“I look forward to every auction held at Heritage, but the Game of Thrones auction is something I’ve been eagerly anticipating for a long, long time,” says Executive Vice President Joe Maddalena of Dallas-based Heritage Auctions. “Seldom have we held an Entertainment auction on such a grand scale, highlighted by our exhibitions in New York, London, Chicago and Dallas. The Heritage Auctions and HBO event is open for bidding from Oct. 10 to 12.
