Galloway Activity Centre has been named Scotland’s top outdoor venue.
The centre, which can be found on the banks of Loch Ken near Parton, scooped the accolade at the Scottish Hospitality Awards.
There were two other Dumfries and Galloway successes at the awards in Glasgow, which celebrate excellence in the country’s hospitality industry. Portpatrick’s Mount Stewart Hotel was named the south west’s hotel of the year, with the south west restaurant of the year prize going to Henry’s Bay House in Stranraer.
"We extend our warmest congratulations to all the winners and nominees and wish them continued success.”
