Another Thursday, another Big Ten victory for MSU. The Spartans knocked off the visiting Iowa Hawkeyes for a pivotal Big Ten victory on Thursday night at the Breslin Center.
Michigan State found themselves down several times in the contest, but were able to overcome the deficit every time to pull off the 63-61 victory.
The Spartans scored very evenly across the board, being led by Jaden Akins (12 points). Akins was followed by the returning Malik Hall (11 points), Joey Hauser (11 points), Tyson Walker (10 points) and Mady Sissoko’s double-double (10 points, 10 rebounds).
