Seoul (South Korea): South Korean tech giant Samsung had quietly launched the Galaxy M53 smartphone and now it is time for the device to reach store shelves.
According to GSM Arena, the first major market confirmed for the mid-range phone's launch is India and it will arrive in the country on April 22.
The Galaxy M53 borrowed some specs from its mightier sibling Galaxy A73, including the 6.7" Super AMOLED+ screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 5,000 mAh battery.

There is also a 108 MP main camera and a 32 MP selfie shooter, but aside from that, the specs are pretty basic.
The quad-cam setup on the back is completed by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and two 2 MP shooters for macro and portrait photos. Its chipset is allegedly Dimensity 900 with two Cortex-A78 cores at 2.4 GHz, and memory is 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage.
As per GSM Arena, although there is no clarity about the phone's price but given the INR 24,999 cost of the predecessor, it's expected to launch at the same price. (ANI)
