Gabriel Martinelli has already dropped hint on Arsenal contract decision amid Chelsea interest

Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli has already hinted at his decision over a potential contract extension at Arsenal, amid reported interest in the youngster. The 21-year-old has continued to impress for the Gunners, carrying his form from last season into the new campaign this time around.

The Brazilian had already caused plenty of Premier League defenders issues with his tricky skillset and direct style of play, but on top of that he has added end product. Martinelli has already scored three goals and assisted once so far in the Premier League, locking the left-wing down as his position.

Discussing the youngster, Mikel Arteta said last month: “In a year, if you look at the game that he played here [against Brentford] a year ago and today, it’s just incredible how fast they grow, they mature, they recognise situations, execution level, the understanding and even physically he looks a different player.
