Arsenal star Gabriel Magalhaes has sent a heartwarming message to Bukayo Saka after Saturday's 2-1 win against Brentford.
The Gunners dominated the clash at the Emirates Stadium, controlling the lion share of possession but couldn't break down Thomas Frank's resolute defence in the first half despite registering a whopping 16 shots - the most of any team in the Premier League this season.
However, Hale End academy graduate Emile Smith Rowe was able to break the deadlock with a skilful run down the left wing before cutting in on his favoured right foot and curling the ball past goalkeeper David Raya.
It was another academy youngster that doubled the host's advantage as Bukayo Saka fired in a wonderful finish via the post before the Bees netted a late consolation goal.
And after the game centre-back, Gabriel took to social media to send the aforementioned Saka a nice message to show how highly he rates him.
The Brazilian's tweet read: "I love this boy", accompanied by a picture of the duo and a heart emoji.
It was the eighth goal that Saka has scored across all competitions this season - a hugely impressive record when you consider that he is still just 20-years-old.
The England international, who has also provided four assists this term, won the club's player of the year award for his consistent performances throughout the 2020/21 campaign.
The talented playmaker's winner on Saturday left the north Londoners just one point behind fourth-placed Manchester United, although the Red Devils have played two more Premier League matches than their rivals.
