Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus is 'focused' on winning his first North London Derby after completing a £45million move in the summer transfer window.
Jesus has hit the ground running since arriving from reigning Premier League champions Manchester City in the summer, scoring four goals and providing a further three assists in his first seven appearances for the Gunners. The Brazilian striker has been a revelation in attack for Mikel Arteta's side, with club captain Martin Odegaard previously commenting on his budding relationship with the 25-year-old.
Jesus was left out of the latest Brazil squad in the last international break ahead of the 2022 World Cup allowing him to fully focus his preparations for his first North London Derby. Tottenham striker Richarlison impressed whilst on international duty with Brazil and is set to line-up for Spurs against his opposing compatriot in with both strikers in fine form.

Speaking ahead of the North London Derby to Arsenal's club media, Jesus said: "I've played a few derbies before and I can feel what it means to play a derby game. Of course, I've never played here before! The north London derby will be my first and I want to win, like every game.
"I understand it's a derby – it's a game different from most – but at the same point, it's a game. It's a game we have to focus on and do our job. Because we are playing at home, we have to think about just doing our game. It's our home."
Jesus believes that individual preparation is just as important as the team's preparation for the North London Derby, using Bukayo Saka as an example. Jesus continued: "Everyone, I believe, has their individual preparation.
"I do think players like Bukayo do things I don't do, so it's individual. But sometimes I think it's good to show something to the group that shows we remember the past too. That we live in the past."
The Brazilian striker is aware that the Gunners are in for a tough test against their north London rivals on Saturday, but thinks his side can make it just as difficult for Spurs as they will make it for the hosts. Jesus continued: "They have amazing players who are playing well with good momentum, so it'll be a difficult game for us as well as for them.
"I believe should we do what we have been doing, we are closer to winning the game. Of course, it's a football game – sometimes things happen that you are not in control of, but what is in our hands is trying to keep the ball, create chances to score and win the game."
