Gabriel Jesus sends two-word Arsenal vs Leeds message ahead of Premier League return

Arsenal head into the final run of the Premier League season with a huge boost as Gabriel Jesus' managed return means he will be back and fully fit. The Brazilian suffered a knee injury at the World Cup that would rule him out for months, with surgery required to begin his rehabilitation.

It was a significant blow to the Gunners, who had been a side transformed since the striker joined from Manchester City in the summer. However, Eddie Nketiah and the signing of Leandro Trossard ensured the side kept a healthy gap between them and the Citizens.

It allowed Jesus to have a staggered return to action rather than being thrown straight into the side after such a period of absence. "It was great to see him [Jesus] back you can feel the happiness of everyone around him. We missed him and now he’s back," Mikel Arteta beamed earlier this month.

"We have to manage his minutes, his involvement. He’s feeling good and every day he’s training he says his sensations are better so that’s really positive." With Jesus back in the side, there will be hopes he can guide the north London outfit to the title once again, with a potential return to the starting team against Leeds this weekend.

The forward has a new look for the game too as Arsenal showed off new boots that he will be wearing heading into the clash. A twitter post from the club showed off his black and pink boots with the words: "Back Stronger," written on the side of both of them.

It is a catchphrase associated with the return of the 25-year-old, with a documentary captured on the process going by the title 'Come Back Stronger'. It remains to be seen whether Jesus can guide the team to Premier League glory, however he certainly boosts their chances while he is available.
