Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus has insisted that the "goals are coming back soon" ahead of facing Nottingham Forest next weekend.
The summer signing from Manchester City scored five goals in his first eight Premier League matches but has now gone five matches across all competitions without finding the back of the net. Jesus' profligacy in front of goal contributed to Arsenal ending an eight-match winning run by draining 1-1 with Southampton on Sunday after getting off four shots without success.
After playing PSV Eindhoven in the Europa League group stages on Thursday, the north London side host Forest in the capital looking to return to winning ways in the league and stop the two-point gap between themselves and Jesus' former employers from being reduced any further.

Speaking after the match (via Football.London ), Jesus was asked about what was going wrong as of late. “I don’t know; I really don’t know,” the Brazil international replied. “If I know, I can tell you!
“But the only thing I can do is keep trying, keep fighting; keep improving. Like I said, I am here to score goals; I am here to help the team with the goals. I understand that. Of course, the goals are coming back soon.”
