Gabriel Jesus is picking up admirers at Arsenal thanks to his 'politeness' and 'uncomplaining attitude' around their pre-season camp.
The Gunners are just completing a successful tour of the US. Mikel Arteta's side have beaten Everton, Orlando City and Chelsea, thumping the latter side 4-0 in Florida in their most recent outing. They also defeated Nurnberg 5-3 in Germany earlier this summer.
Jesus, 25, has played a starring role in all four games, scoring four goals. The 56-cap Brazil international joined Arsenal from Manchester City earlier this month and is hoping to flourish under Arteta after scoring just eight Premier league goals last season.
And it's not just on the pitch where Jesus is impressing for the Gunners. According to The Athletic, Arsenal players have been impressed by his character. The forward had a similar reputation at the Etihad, which is one of the reasons why Arteta wanted him.
Arteta was Pep Guardiola's assistant at Man City between July 2016 and December 2019 before leaving to take the top job at the Emirates. He would've been aware of Jesus' character before persuading the Gunners board to pay Man City £45million for his services.
The same could be said for Oleksandr Zinchenko, who recently completed a £32m move from Man City to Arsenal. The Ukraine international, 25, is also renowned for his good attitude and will be hoping to have a positive impact on the squad this season.

The Gunners have signed five players so far this summer, including Jesus and Zinchenko. Goalkeeper Matt Turner, midfielder Fabio Vieira and forward Marquinhos have also moved to the Emirates. More transfers could follow with five weeks left in the window.
"It’s always good to have new faces because they’ll bring a lot of competition," Xhaka told The Athletic. "But first of all, they are very, very humble - good people as well. They fit in our team. This is important for the team. And then, the quality. Everyone who comes here has the quality to play for this football club and to help the team."
Several Man City players said a fond farewell to Jesus after his exit. Bernardo Silva tweeted "what a guy" and John Stones thanked him for "always putting smile on my face". Arteta also praised Jesus' character when the transfer was finalised.
"I think the club has done a tremendous job to recruit a player of this stature," said Arteta. "It’s somebody that I know personally really well, and we all know really well because he’s played in the league and been really successful."
Arteta went on to say: "I think it’s a package. Start with his character, the person, the smile and what he represents as a human being. Then he’s an incredible professional, with his work ethic and enthusiasm. You will see it the first day he puts on his boots and enters the training pitch; he has the enthusiasm that he is going to create on his own on that pitch.
"And then obviously there are his qualities, his anger to score, his willingness to be coached, to improve. He is used to winning and he knows that winning is the only way to do it. I think he will set different standards at the club."
