Arsenal have secured their fourth signing of the summer following the arrival of Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City. The 25-year-old forward joins Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner and Marquinhos as new additions to the squad so far and it's believed that Mikel Arteta isn't done yet.
Talks for Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez remain ongoing according to various reports, with The Athletic claiming that both clubs are set to meet again this week. However, new Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is looking to throw a spanner in the works as he reportedly attempts to win the race for the player's signature.
At the time of writing, it appears no fee has been agreed, although you get the sense that it's only a matter of time before it is considering Arsenal and United's pressing interest.

If or when that time comes, it potentially leaves Martinez with a difficult decision to make. Erik ten Hag is a manager who knows the Argentinian very well after working with him at the Eredivisie champions, similarly to Arteta and Jesus at Manchester City.
Despite this, United's recent lack of stability, current competition in defensive areas and the unsettling situation that seems to be developing with Cristiano Ronaldo should all be viewed as red flags. Meanwhile, Arsenal can offer the complete opposite and it's something Jesus and technical director Edu are very keen to get across to transfer targets like Martinez.
In a video posted on the Arsenal website, Edu shows Jesus around the Emirates Stadium. After visiting his new dressing room and putting on the famous red and white for the first time, Jesus is led out of the tunnel and onto the sidelines. It's there that the Brazilian duo emphasised the excitement and importance of the project as they stand in front of the cameras while overlooking the pitch.
"We prepare everything to be fantastic for everyone," Edu said after Jesus reiterated his happiness to be at The Arsenal. "The fans are excited, you are excited, we are excited. That's the way it should be.
"You see a good team, a young team, as I explained to you the project, what we are looking for, for the future of this club. For the present and of course for the future of this club. So you are the right profile to impact our present and then of course to help us go for a beautiful future, as we plan to do."
Jesus replied: "Yeah, like I said, I'm really happy to be here. Excited to start the season, first training session, first game at home. So let's go, let's go Gunners."
