Gabby George makes 'stronger' Everton admission and fires Chelsea and Man City warning

In football getting three points on the board is always important and that is what we did on Saturday evening against Leicester City.

As players we knew we needed to get another three points on the board given the position we are in. Hopefully we can start to build momentum now.

Every game is a big game for us because this season we haven’t shown everyone what we are capable of. We know as players we need to change that.

During Saturday's game there was never a moment in it where we didn't think we would go on to win it. Even at 1-0 down we never got stressed because we knew we would win the game.

But the big thing is that I was confident in the team that they could turn things around and not let anything get in our way. We’ve been through a lot this season and it has only made us stronger.

We know it has been a disappointing season but the fans have stuck with us throughout the campaign. And it has really pushed us on.

It also gives us a real sense of togetherness. Not just between us as players, but the club in general.

We believe we can beat Chelsea and Man City

Wednesday sees us take on Chelsea and like I have always said we go into every game looking to win it. That is my mentality regardless of the opposition.

We don’t look at any game any differently. Our aim is to always win. That’s what we are in football for.

That is never going to change whether we play Chelsea, Arsenal, Birmingham City or Leicester City. We always want to win and that is what we are going to do.

Games against Chelsea are not just exciting, but they also offer us the chance to see where we are in terms of coming up against one of the best teams in the world.

After Wednesday’s game against Chelsea our attention turns to an FA Cup clash against Manchester City at the weekend.

We are all desperate to go to Wembley again and in my opinion you enter the FA Cup with the view to winning it. We want to go that one step further this time round.
